Returning to Miami in 2018, Mo’Raye stepped into purpose—boldly and visibly—by vlogging her weight loss journey, tackling real issues affecting young women in her community, and co-founding the nonprofit Girl Code Academy with her best friend, Shercoria Henderson. A space for girls to dream loudly and boldly, Girl Code was born from Mo’s own revelation: to inspire others, she had to follow her own flame first. Today, Mo’Raye Banxx is the Program Manager of Rated R Miami TV, where she curates opportunities for indie artists and storytellers who deserve to be seen and heard. She also founded Dirty Dade Productions, a sister company under the Rated R umbrella, turning streetwise hustle into structured brilliance. Her current role as a media correspondent for Glitz Magazine under the Glitz & Girlpower Awards and Big Dreams for Her Foundation showcases her dedication to amplifying women’s voices, stories, and legacies.
And then there’s Fluffie—her boldest creative baby yet. A podcast-meets-variety-show-meets healing-circle inspired by the vibe of “All That”, Mo’Raye plans to redefine what plus-size power looks like on-screen and in society. It’s skits. It’s reality. It’s raw conversations. And it’s all drenched in self love, satire, and sisterhood.
